Due to a surge in COVID-19 cases in Laos since April 2021, the Government of Laos has taken strict measures for preventing further spread of the virus in the country. Most of the provinces in Laos are now in lock-down with strict measures applied.
This means that most of our field activities have to be postponed until the situation gets better. All our staff will try to get vaccinated when and as soon as possible.
We take this opportunity to remind the community that last year we produced a poster to raise awareness about the importance of environmental and ecosystems protection to avoid the spread of future zoonosis (such as COVID-19) and protect human health. We have now made the high-resolution poster available for download if anyone wishes to share it and/or print it (for non-commercial use only).
