Anoulak’s director, Camille, was honored to be invited as guest speaker for the Jane Goodall Institute Singapore (JGIS)’s lecture series “Celebrating Primates in Southeast Asia”, to speak about the work of Anoulak in Laos on the 23rd June 2019.
Camille talked about her journey that led her to found Association Anoulak in 2014, after growing up in the Caribbeans, studying in Canada and then England and finally starting her career with the creation of Anoulak to act for biodiversity conservation in the Annamite Mountains of Laos through several programs.
It was a great pleasure to meet the dedicated team of the Jane Goodall Institute Singapore, exchange on our respective work and discuss future collaborations.
The Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) is a global nonprofit focused on inspiring individual action to improve the understanding, welfare and conservation of great apes and to safeguard the planet we all share. JGI’s mission is based in Dr. Jane Goodall’s belief that the well-being of our world relies on people taking an active interest in all living things.
We are very grateful to the Jane Goodall Institute Singapore for the invitation and sponsoring the visit!
